It makes perfect sense for the FLA teams to be in C - just think of all those fans from cold weather cities wanting to get the hell out of the freezing weather for a few days by going to FLA.

I mean what else could it be?

:noidea:

I'm guessing ratings but I like the way you think. :suds:

NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNo they shouldn't :hellno:

I wouldn't have a problem with Orr, Lemieux, Howe, Gretzky divisions.

I'd be OK with that too, but I'd prefer they keep it more old school.

Richard, Howe, Orr and Mikita. Those would probably be my choice.

Realignment approved. The best news about this is that our friends @VanCanucks are in our division now

Central Division: Boston, Buffalo, Columbus, Detroit, Montreal, Ottawa, Pittsburgh, Toronto.

I'd like that. Buffalo, Pitt and Detroit are good rivals.

They've used Richard on a trophy, and they should use Orr on one (Highest scoring Defenseman)

But I like Old School - coaches

I like that idea. Punch Imlach would be a good one too.

I didn't know this until today but I see the Houston Astros have moved to the AL. Weird. I assume that was done to balance the leagues/divisions. Funny that the NHL will now be going the opposite direction. The way the MLB schedule works it sort of made sense to keep an even number of teams in each league. I guess now there will have to be 1 or more (odd numbers only) inter-league series' happening at any given time all season long.

Yeah, but I don't think the banner specs for the site allow for a tilted, unbalanced gif.

Really? Hey dare are you going to work with HD to change the NHL forums around? He probably just needs a list of teams for starters.
