Two reasons. First if you wait until the very last minute and something comes up you might forget.

That said I agree with you and it's a good idea in fact a few years ago I waited in contest like this just for that reason. Then one time a poster said I did that to see who others pick to some how get an advantage. I think the posters that have known me over the years know that I take that very personally. I do not cheat and do not lie and do NOT like being accused of it even jokingly. TBO, I don't even look at other posters picks until after I make mine.

I think if there were big time dollars involved, you would see guys taking that approach and looking at the schedule to see if teams were on back-to-back games, historical trends (i.e. how teams fare in certain arenas etc.) as well as current injuries. I'm just looking at it as a fun little game and basing my picks solely on the team jersey I prefer.

For me this is just a fun game. I don't pay attention to who picked who until after I make my picks. If I see my picks are exactly the same as someone else I will make at least 1 change, but I'll do it right then & their. I don't want to copy anyone else or for others to think I am.
