My goodness every friggin game refs making shitty calls and ignoring obvious ones. I think we need some sort of tougher penalties on refs for screwing up. This is really bad.

And before you idiots say I am crying, my team won easily. Just seems like every game i switch too is a disaster with the calls.

Did you ever win an argument against a ref? I have. The refs had an arrangement with the timekeeper and they were shaving time off the clock so they could go home earlier. I caught them in the act. Made no difference, but we got to play longer.

More and more we're hearing the former referee in the booth criticise the decision on the field. The Broncos had a TD called back today at 21-7. The refs called an illegal block down field, but only after the TD reception. Last week the Lions had a similar TD chalked off against the Seahawks. Ultimately neither call decided a game, but both calls looked like outside interference to 'steer' the game.

It’s useless to complain about the refs. In Pats game Jets got away with slapping receiver in the face with his back to the ball, never turned his head. But no use complaining.

We have all this technology but we refuse to use it properly …

I hate replay way more than the refs.
I love the IDEA of replay. I hate the stupid ass braindead implementation.

The fact I'm sitting 6 feet away watching a 4k display that's 86 inches, but the ref making the call on the replay is looking at a 7 inch tablet inside a box... something is wrong with thatBFRXQ4GFJII6TC7XZXRNTYEQKU.jpg

I hate it in all sports. Slows down the game.

Would rather see it go away than be increased.

That could be a good option but how many penalties would be reviewed?
I think every coach should have 3 challenges a game because usually these bad calls get magnified when it’s in big moments… I think most of us fans can accept a bad call or 2 early on, but having challenges for any penalty for review at your disposal would be cool for those important moments …

First and foremost get the call right. Or as right as you can be. Fuck indisputable video evidence. Get the call right.

Second get a trained guy in a booth somewhere. Pay him like it's a GameShow. You start the game making $10k for every wrong call that you let go through without reversing it, you lose 2k. For every second over 30 seconds that you take you lose another $10. Or whatever.

Nope. Give coaches 1 WRONG challenge a game. No limit on correct challenges. No need to,penalize a team just because the refs screw up against your team an inordinate number of times.

I agree with this but they should keep the challenges that they win.

Why 1 ? 3 isn’t much for an entire game ..

To use limited challenges for penalty reviews, can dig that, maybe 1 per half or game at most

I hate when they challenge stuff just because it was a big play. I don't feel like that was the reason for reviews. I would be happier if the only time people challenged anything was when the refs actually made a mistake. Not whenever it's a close play and a review might possibly get lucky.
