He has very good hands, but he's just not athletic enough to merit that high of a pick.

i'm not a big fan of mercilus. he'd have to be worked in like aldon was, but we need someone that can cover at olb. a freak like julien peterson would be great but i don't see anything close to that in the draft. just a bunch of de/olb hybrids

Melvin Ingram. Also, its too bad that Devin Taylor (South Carolina) isn't very good with his hands because he could be an Aldon clone. I think he can be worked on though, he has freakish length and is great in coverage.

He might be better than JP all around. They had him playing dt alot so it was hard to really judge. He moves better than anybody close to his size than I've ever seen.

That's a pretty strong endorsement. I honestly spent more time watching other players on that defense, so I could be wrong. If he can move like an OLB who excells in coverage he should be a really high pick.

He will. Maybe I put too much on him being better in coverage than JP, but maybe not. This guy is an absolute freak of nature. If he's there for us (which I doubt) we need to grab him...immediately.
