Although I may have chosen Selmon over Robustelli. I was splitting hairs when I realized he wasn't eligible. Also had Doug Atkins in the mix, who I was leaning towards and one other eligible guy with a bigger name draw.
I think that is a flaw of mine in these exercises. I tend to leave some guys with a bigger name draw on the table and take guys who were more productive or fit in with what I am building. I'm going to try to put Together a write up for this team, so maybe I'll be able to sway a couple people.
So, what's the verdict on the vote? Is it full squad 44 or just the starters. It actually changes a lot, depending on what the answer is. Plus, as stated, it makes little sense to draft the last half of the draft.
Still feel there are some great picks left... IMO voting the entire 44 would be unrealistic... I think adding 5 or so gives people room for scheme substitutions which IMO would be good and it makes later picks some what purposeful... If we eliminate rounds I'd be okay with it but it would mess up my strategy a little...
Richard Dent was the aforementioned guy I was debating with Selmon. I chose Selmon for a few different reasons, but Dent's name carries more weight, imo.
WLK wanted both of those guys
@Nosferatu when you find out or decide on the job?
Final interview Wednesday morning.
So Mebert can post "RD 15" on full draft thread but has Nos post his pick. That's weird.
No, he posted his pick on the full draft thread and I switched it to round 15 I then posted it for him on the pick thread.
If you take the job and Ritz takes over that might be a situation where we'd have to restart the draft do to all the confusion... DON'T LEAVE!!!
Ive already been told the job would begin August 1st.
