Smart thinking but now what you doing with all that free time?

Thinking of ideas like this... So since we're taking 22 from each and then combining to make 22... So that it's not a waste, why not add a 5 man bench... Any 5 so that schemes can be made more effective... Like the 3-4 defense guys... When they play a spread the have to drop a LB and a a corner but that kind of messes with the set up... So they can opt for extra DLine guys and LBs for coverage or 5 WR sets but then have a FB and TE for jumbo packages or some may want a back up QB... Just a thought...

Really frustrated with the 1970 rule now. I put my list together before that was announced and had to tweak this part of my list with so many guys I was looking at falling before the cut off line. Add in my son in one ear, ritz texting me, work calling me, and the fact that I drove all night to go on "vacation" and it made for a very irritating time picking those last 3 guys.

Yeah, but Chuck Bednarik and Andy Robustelli or the other couple of guys I was looking at would have been much nicer. But they would have probably been long gone if they were available.

Although I may have chosen Selmon over Robustelli. I was splitting hairs when I realized he wasn't eligible. Also had Doug Atkins in the mix, who I was leaning towards and one other eligible guy with a bigger name draw.

I think that is a flaw of mine in these exercises. I tend to leave some guys with a bigger name draw on the table and take guys who were more productive or fit in with what I am building. I'm going to try to put Together a write up for this team, so maybe I'll be able to sway a couple people.

So, what's the verdict on the vote? Is it full squad 44 or just the starters. It actually changes a lot, depending on what the answer is. Plus, as stated, it makes little sense to draft the last half of the draft.
