I think Gary Patterson would kill it at Michigan.

Plays that boring ass B1G football better than they do. 123-44 as a HC, has a few BCS appearances and one Rose Bowl win over Wisky.

oooh I like that.

Best reasonable suggestion I've seen.

I had forgot about Gene Chizik, but then again when I hear his name I just think 'Cam Newton'.

I really think John Harbaugh is going to come to Michigan. He's already won a SB, and I think this whole Ray Rice thing has soured him a bit for coaching in the NFL. It's a lot harder to build a SB team through the draft, then it is to recruit/coach up a national contender. I could see him coming to town, Mattison staying to be the DC with his old coaching buddy, and Michigan not having too bad of a recruiting year, even after firing their HC.

It may be a pipe dream, but I think there may be something to it. IMO, I'd rather see him than Les. Really, I've a got few people ahead of Les Miles, but Les would definitely be an improvement over what we've seen in AA the past 6-7 years.

I like the Patterson idea but I don't think he is interested in coming to the B1G.

UofM may go outside the box next HC selection. As the former ties to UofM hasn't worked out so well.

No chance. He could not survive in the bubble of Michigan athletics. He is a bit crazy.
I would go Gundy or Briles prior to Patterson. Guy I really like, but he would be way down the list is Patterson's old OC, Fuentes. Look at what he is doing at Memphis and TCU hasnt been the same since he left.

Brett Bilema to Michigan. Knows how to build an offensive line and familiar to the B1G. Will be available to the team in two weeks.

You can add Ohio State to this list after the Michigan State game.

So you think Meyer quits? He certainly isn't going to be fired. His record is quite impressive in Columbus, even with an easy schedule and even if he hasn't won a big game in a while. You don't fire guys that win 10 games every year. I mean, the guy is 26-3 right now as coach.

If the AD doesn't try to get Miles or Harbaugh, he should probably be fired. Hoke was the worst hire you could ever imagine.

You know that at least one of these is Todd Graham's "dream job." So he will be moving on from Arizona State this year I am sure.

Don't forget Bobby Bowden! He still wants the most wins ever.

(I'd burn my diploma)
