they devils done really have to leave the area. not more then a night away....pretty crazy this includeds a 6 game homestand or is it5?

Going to Buffalo in about a month is the only time they'll board a plane until middle of february. Then they have one game in Toronto, and one game in Montreal, and that's it until they go to Boston March 1.

They do travel to Pitt also I believe but yeah this is a huge stretch

I think it'll be a pretty big dissapointment if we miss the playoffs altogether judging by how we've played up until now.

Its gonna come down to us , Jets , Sabres and Leafs for 1 spot and in my mind were better then Florida , Toronto , Winnipeg , Buffalo and even Pittsburgh.

If any of those teams made it and we didnt then something would've had to gone super wrong.

The Pitt game is at the Rock. the first part of this 45 day stretch is going to be a serious effing killer.

In the next 9 games we play the Rangers (2x), Flyers (2x), Pitt and Boston. Expecting anything more than a 3-3 record in that stretch is asking a lot IMO.
