So it was my imagination then that he had him in a bear hug and took him down into the net my mistake.
Other then the first 5 min the Rangers played like shit and thats why they lost.
The Flyers are a better team than you think they are. That's the truth of the matter.

You outshot us and outchanced us. I wouldn't say they played like shit. Emery just had a good game after the first five minutes.
After two games, I think both teams have things to build on and things to address.
The Flyers have hung in there with a backup netminder and killed off a bajillion penalties, put some pucks past Lundqvist (which is always a concern), and are tied in the series with 3 home games left to 2 road games. That said, they have had a lot of silly turnovers and bad penalties though, and they need to fight off the Ranger forecheck, which was very effective in game one.
The Rangers have outshot the Flyers in each of the first two games and are 3 of 12 on the power play in the series, which isn't bad at all. That said, they got away from the really good forecheck that has served them well so far in the third period, and their shooting percentage is pretty bad (it was throughout the regular season as well), so they need to convert on more of their chances. Their penalty kill also needs to improve - 50%, while based on a small sample size (2 for 4), is still abysmal.
I think this series could go anywhere, honestly. If the Flyers continue to give up six power plays a game to the Rangers, they probably won't see game seven. If the Rangers start taking a few more penalties, or if they can't sustain a nearly fifteen shots per game advantage, they might not see game seven either.
It'll be entertaining, at least.

I dont think the flyers are a bad team, but over the last few years the Rangers have had their number it was 9 in a row at MSG. If the Rangers play like they can I just think they are a better team.
The Rangers haven't done a lot of winning in Philly lately either. The first team to lose a home game in this series was going to be the one at a disadvantage. Obviously that all changes if the Flyers can't take care of business in Philly, but I fully expect Giroux to run wild with more favorable matchups and now Emery appears to have found a comfort zone. The concern over Mason being injured is significantly less. I also feel like the Rangers peaked in game one while the Flyers have yet to peak.
