Sloppy and pathetic performance of hockey. After going up 2-0, we deserved to lose the game. IDC if we outshot them, we were outplayed, PP sucked dick and i'm not even gonna bother to complain about the refs, but embellishment? TWICE in one game? Give me a fucking break.

Both sides can agree that the referees have been pretty awful to this point, but I'm seeing 12 power plays for the Rangers and only 4 for the Flyers, so you tell me who it is ultimately benefiting...

I know one thing. I have yet to see my team bring it and when they do, watch the fuck out.

The refs have been poor on both sides of the ice, I agree. But tell me what the fuck did Dorsett embellish when he was checked into the boards by Simmonds? Give me a break, and Zucc? WTF did he do, those were terrible calls that took powerplays away from us.

The Dorsett call, from what I remember, might have had a little substance to it. I am working on memory, mind you (can't find a video online), but he got hit around the goal line and ended up on the boards behind the net, which is a long way to go without some internal assistance. I'm not certain it was the right or wrong call, but I can at least see the reasoning behind calling it (though when the Rangers already have one on the day, I'm surprised they called a maybe one like that).

The Zuccarello call was terrible. He's skating towards the crease, MacDonald pushes him. Not super hard, but you can see Zuc's skates lose grip and skitter sideways out from under him. That was absolutely not embellishment. Should have been either two on MacDonald and nothing for Zuc, or nothing for anyone (it's freaking playoff hockey, but the refs are whistling like its practice in Miracle on Ice or something).

Embellishment is something that should be left out of the playoffs unless it's to a massive extreme and even then it's still stupid.

If you don't call a penalty on the other guy because you think the player acted. Just let it go and allow everyone at home an opportunity to point and laugh at the fool.

Maybe if a guy is constantly doing it then put an end to it. But a judgement call on embellishment is straight dumb.

I am shocked to hear that it was possible that Dorsett dove. This shakes my core fundamental beliefs and I don't know of anything that I can truly believe in anymore.

P.S. I saw that fucker dive in a scrimmage at Dev camp about four years ago. Hated that little shit ever since.

You sound like the Cap, But the last few years especially during the playoffs the Rangers have been a very disciplined team so it doesn't surprise me that the calls are in their favor.

Outside of Dorsett, the Rangers have stayed away from dumb penalties for the most part. They've always been well disciplined
