This might sound shitty, but because of Sam Foltz I don't think that this MRI thing will divide the team. I think they're a pretty tight knit and focused group.

Like DB was saying, Bo used negative energy and a bunker mentality as motivational tools, which isn't sustainable. You can't go through a whole season acting like everyone is out to get you. It works in small bursts but then when you have success and everyone starts to love you, how is your team supposed to believe you when you keep telling them they have to go out and prove people wrong? It just doesn't work.

HCMR's approach is the right one. This team is a circus year in and year out without fail. It needs a steady hand at the wheel.

After NW I'm not entirely convinced we're covering -21 here, not having a pass rush against a decent pocket QB is a big deal, Banker may like to cut loose our LBs Andy get after this Mike Hunt guy, our DBs are doing better this year but they can't cover a guy for 30 second routes

Honestly though we fumbled twice at the 1/2 yard line in that game. Score shouldn't have even been close in reality.

I thought it was gonna be a tough game just given the fact that we had the Oregon deal a week before. I have a feeling we either cover right around 21 or we may just straight up blow Illinois out of the water.

I'm just glad we got past the NW trap. That game was scary to me.

We should have lit NW up but instead kept them in the game until the 4th qtr with self inflicted treats, it's as if we play down to a lesser opponent instead of putting the game away before halftime. MSU has a habit of doing that and it comes back to bite them more often than not
In the end it's a W, I just would prefer TA wasn't in the game by the 4th taking shots instead of watching Barney get some snaps

It won't let me read because I'm not a subscriber but in my experience these things usually come out as a result of a question they were asked and these guys are just plain transparent. It's not like it was a secret or anything, Valentine was lazy.
