Truth is he isn’t much of a coachI think he would be really good for the Bears and their offense. And having coached in Green Bay.....he is used to the cold....

Yet, you said he will be better off in Chicago....LOL.Truth is he isn’t much of a coach
Well he will be, Dallas has ceedee lamb and pretty much nothing else.Yet, you said he will be better off in Chicago....LOL.
Kind of a tough call with Tomlin. Dudes never had a losing season, but if memory serves, the last time they won a playoff game was when he had Ben.
Starting Wilson looked good for the first few games...but then he turned into Old Russ which is basically a little more mobile version of Old Ben.
He probably should have at least pulled Wilson in the 2nd half of one of those games to see what Fields could do.

didn't play that way when Big Ben was still Big Ben.Yeah. I agree 100%.
He is a great coach/leader of men.
But I just don’t think you can win against good teams consistently playing defense, run first football and kicking on 4th and short.
Maybe or maybe he sees all he needs to see with Fields in practice. Instead of ripping the guy (and not saying you have) for making the playoffs all those times and/or no losing seasons but no playoff wins I'd be inclined to credit the guy for that with the QB play he has had the last half decade or so.
Possible they need to move on and find a different voice? Sure...but also possible they do that and experience what pretty much every NFL fan has seen and their team screws up a coaching hire...or 3.

I don't think you can win consistently with badly regressing Ben, Wilson, Fields, Rudolph or Pickett.
Maybe Lovie SmithBetter for who?
Not Caleb Williams.
He needs an innovative offensive mind who can scheme some easy throws.
Not a coach who runs a vanilla read and react offense. Think that will be hard for a young QB still learning his position.
When was the last time the Bears had a coach who added value?
Yeah. I agree 100%.

The Raiders are interested in him. But, I honestly would prefer Pete Carroll who they are also interested in. Tired of these first timers who don't pan out......or fucking McDaniels.....SMH.I would rather see them go after a first timer.
Make a play for Ben Johnson. See if you can get him.
Maybe....but when your coach is more a defensive guy (I think?) that is more on the OC. does he hire the wrong OCs? That's a real possibility. That is true.
But to me, when you have Russ and Fields, it is even more important for the coach to find a way to leverage extra possessions by making those 4th and short plays.
Guessing that depends what he thinks of Caleb Williams.I would rather see them go after a first timer.
