It's an even easier fix but cannot be done in time for next year.

Make it 16 teams. Would be done in same amount of weeks as the 12 teamer but no byes. Add a couple bowls to the mix.

Seems like the transfer portal should be a fairly easy fix. Open it for 4-6 weeks after the NCG and then for another 4-6 weeks after spring practice. No more going into the portal during the season...if player decides to start sitting out before the season is over because he's going to enter the portal after the season...his scholarship is immediately revoked and if he wants to stay to finish the semester...he has to pay the tuition.

Wonder who is up next for Jerry to assign blame. McCarthy did kinda ride the coattails of prime Rodgers but I don’t think he’s a bad head coach by any means. Like some others, struggles with clock management.
