But i get criticized when bringing up these refs
This one was shameful
No.
You get criticized when you say the refs are bad at their jobs.
Talk about a missed call that impacted a game all you want.
Just cut the hyperbole.
This one was shameful
Yes that was another awful call. Browns were still in the game even with another bad Baker game and mediocre playcalling. Man, this team could have so many wins. A lot of what if’s but what we do know is…NFL refs are becoming a joke and it is sickening to watchBrowns got robbed
The nfl refs are bad at their job. As Wilbon said all they do is miss obvious calls. If I'm bad at my job then i get warnings and is eventually fired. Same should happen to these guys. Refs and weatherman the only 2 jobs in the world where you can suck and not lose your job.
I'd say this pretty much sums it up...Basketball players are pussies, football players are not.
So, let me get this straight.
They are the best in the world at what they do, but they still suck at their jobs?
Cmon man.
Your expectations are just too high on this.
Yeah i expect the refs to see an obvious hold. This wasn't some bang bang play. Clear cut flag. My fault though for expecting them to throw flags on obvious penalties.....
Sure. It should have been called.
And there were many other calls throughout the game that the officials got right.
But you (and others) choose to focus on a small number that they got wrong.
Sure, these calls can impact outcomes of games. But human refs will never be anywhere close to 100%.
And unless you want to make officiating 100% automated and with camera replays, this is never going to change.
Again, because the NFL officials are the best at doing that particular job.
We went through this shit in a playoff game a few years ago and supposedly it was being fixed. You simply can’t miss an obvious mugging in the last minute of the game like that.Sure. It should have been called.

And like I said.
Criticize the call all you want.
But you can’t say these guys aren’t good at their jobs.
They are good.
Their jobs are just impossible.
Yeah I’m not saying they are horrible, but the league can’t let this keep happening. I’ll just say it, at this point I’m not 100 percent convinced that if that was the Packers on offense there that the result would have been the same. The league opens itself up to that. And like I said.
