I truly believe Watson was outta line and is a total scumbag. You don't have that many different women accuse someone of things without doing some questionable things. I'm sure he crossed the line several times with multiple women.

And that's the other part...I also don't believe he is innocent of any wrongdoing. There may have been some misunderstandings...but I don't doubt that he crossed the line with some of them as well.

That was actually the first thought I had and I posted something to that effect right after it was announced. Just seems odd that you have that many accusers and can't find enough evidence to hold over for a trial. It's not like there's a high burden of proof for a grand jury.

If I'm not mistaken, I don't think the defense even gets to participate.

Not sure what you mean by "even me" as I've never said we can be sure he's innocent. I believe it's very possible (perhaps likely) he did something that rose to the level of personal misconduct when it comes to the NFL with at least one of them. How high a level? who knows.

Just a little that seems off IF things we've heard are true. A number of attys turned down this case before someone would take it....for a high profile, extremely wealthy defendant? Many of the accusers stayed in contact with him, some even saying they wanted to see him again. Did see in court docs where at least a few tried to blackmail him.

One question I keep wondering is if they felt uncomfortable why not just leave?

OTOH, when it comes to watson, not sure how he can justify having 40 different masseuses. That alone not a crime (or against NFL rules) but seems odd for sure.

I'm really just not going down the road of who is or isn't lying. I think Deshaun could have handled it better all the way down but I also think the NFL has had waaaaaaay more than enough time to decide something.

Yeah. Certainly possible they are lying (yes, all 22) but maybe not. In addition, even if they did lie for Watson to say he'd "have done nothing different" is a bad look. If nothing else, how about say maybe you should have limited the amount of massage therapists you saw?

Depends what type of defending you are talking about. Haven't heard the Browns fans here saying they are sure he did nothing wrong (seems all seem to believe he did something). One could make a case, however, he does not deserve a long suspension (or even a short one) based on what we know.

Just saw the interviews. Only takeaway was Watson side could have made a better choice of the attorney they had talk at the end.
