the evidence threshold for a grand jury is so low too.Agreed. Watson may be a complete scum bag, but this has always been the interesting part. I’d want to see some hard evidence before passing judgement.
in a grand jury the defense doesnt even get to present evidence or speak- and the prosecution just has to put on a very low amount of evidence- basically saying that the alleged conduct is potentially criminal.
The grand jury basically said- even if what the prosecution said is true- its not a crime.
doesnt mean he is not a scumbag- just that he is not a criminal- and his conduct- or more precisely- his alleged conduct- did not rise to criminality.
out of my depth a little on criminal matters but that is the jist.
