Baker has 3 options....
1) ball out and get paid (or at least try to)
2) quit/retire
3) hold out, not be paid, and be in same position next season

Guessing he and his agent understand this is a business

If he holds out & doesn't get paid does that mean he'll do 50+ commercials next season?

Depends. It may be how they feel and either some lower level staffer got loose with his mouth or someone was overheard saying the quiet part out loud and didn't realize anyone else heard it.

When I first heard the report, they were in the middle of talking about it, so I just assumed that I missed the name. Now that it appears no name was included, I am skeptical. Could be someone looking for clickbait.
