The Broncos are gonna be damn good with Wilson. Finally they found the QB they've been looking for since the moment Peyton retired.

Under GM Elway they wasted multiple 1st round picks on QB's that did next to nothing.

And this trade probably doesn't happen if # 7 was still the GM. This isn't my opinion. But for years I've heard Broncos fans say Elway didn't want a good QB in town because he didn't want any QB's taking away from his legacy. When he traded for PM everyone already knew Manning > Elway so that wasn't going to put a dent in his legacy.
