You realize why it was quiet right?
The local joke around here is Eagles GM Howie Roseman calling the Eagles “a QB factory” when they overdrafted Hurts in round 2. They’re a QB factory alright…they deliver malware and ruin your franchise haha.Wentz may be traded or released by the Colts.
Really weird how this is playing out.
Whatever you think, it’s your program. Facts are that Venables did not pursue any current Clemson players, recruits or anything. That is the code of ethics among coaches. Riley can do what he wants, but he has soured his reputation considerably, and obviously wasnt worthy of what he was given. Let’s see how he does on his own. Anyone with any sense knows what Riley did, those of us close to OU knew something was off. I find it refreshing that Venables is confident enough in himself and program to do things the right way.I know the conspiracy theory that melting down Sooners fans are running with to make themselves feel better.
I also know that a competently run organization doesn't let stuff get out.

Bradford to the Vikings - fucked them up
Foles to Jacksonville - fucked them up
Wentz to Colts - fucked them up.
Lesson learned…if the Eagles are offering you a QB you better fucking run haha.
I’m sorry bro but OU fans really don’t get to do this stuff. Their entire program’s success was built on the backs of boosters buying talent out of Texas after WW2. Three coaches have won national titles at OU (Wilkinson/Switzer/Stoops) and all three at one time, or in the case of Wilkinson, multiple times were linked to pay for play schemes for OU to buy talent. You can’t have your entire team’s legacy built on the back of cheating and then cry over somebody else crossing lines.Whatever you think, it’s your program. It kind of makes sense. If they over draft Malik Willis or some other QB this year it would confirm your theory of their strategy.Maybe they're trying to improve their Super Bowl chances by flooding the league with malware quarterbacks?
Just stating facts, some don’t like it.I’m sorry bro but OU fans really don’t get to do this stuff. I stand by every single thing I said. I still say Riley may be the best offensive coordinator in the country, college or pro. He has proved nothing as a head coach though, other than he was not worthy of the keys to the kingdom he was given.Riley didn't recruit any OU players until they hit the portal. Not all OU players that hit the portal chose USC and the ones that did, chose OU specifically because of Riley. What did you think they were going to do when he left? Especially since several position coaches left with him.
Do you think Clemson players chose Clemson because of Venables or Dabo?
And lol @your "we knew something was off" nonsense. You were all talking about how great Riley was until he left. With the way you all talk now...Why aren't you guys thanking USC for taking that shit coach off your hands? If someone had hired Helton away from USC...USC fans would have started a gofundme to help the other program pay his salary.

The portal has created a different college game now. And I don't think he recruited those players either. They wanted to play for him. Kind of like when they get recruited out of HS.I stand by every single thing I said. I still say Riley may be the best offensive coordinator on the country, college or pro. As for Riley’s bs excuses about the portal, that’s laughable. You realize no one can change schools without going through the portal right? Venables straight up told kids stay at Clemson, you will be happy, there was one recruit from KS that was hell bent on sticking with Venables. He had to get Dabos blessing before switching his commitment. To even get to that point he went and enrolled at OU on his own. It’s widely known that Riley was recruiting for USC on OUs dime. If you are good with that cool. I woukd not be.
We are glad trust Riley is gone, you can bet on that. Doesn’t mean we aren’t going to point out that he is a snake pussy every chance we get.
I have no problem with the portal, it’s people with no ethics I have a problem with. The portal has created a different college game now. And I don't think he recruited those players either. They wanted to play for him. Kind of like when they get recruited out of HS.
If coaches can leave at anytime for another gig.....why shouldn't the players be allowed to do the same?
You have no proof.I have no problem with the portal, it’s people with no ethics I have a problem with.
Proof? Are you serious? LmaoYou have no proof.
