How much did they just pay him?

Don't read too much into the contract. He won't see most of that money but yeah today wasn't the day to drag Hill. Ok passing day and played mistake free football

Poor ESPN. They were hyping up their 2 Saturday games on week 18 and they got stuck with shit.

Chiefs/Broncos- Not much at stake here. Chiefs are playing WC weekend unless the Jags beat the Titans so just a seeding thing.
Cowboys/Eagles- ZERO at stake here. Cowboys locked up the East while Philly locked in to a WC spot.

Chargers at Raiders on SNF.

A Raiders win likely send them to Cincy.

A Chargers win likely send them to KC.

@ChiefsLakers67 forgot to ask you, why didn't the Chiefs just let Cincy score when it was under 2 to go and they were at the 2 or 3? Chiefs had 2 timeouts. Let them score there and now Mahomes get the ball with probably 145ish and 2 timeouts

Trust me, I thought the same. It's hardly the only way we screwed up today, though....

Hoping they learn from this...

It seems like I may have been half right yesterday on AB and the issue stemming from incentives. Apparently Arians benched AB and that’s why he quit. No reports on why he was benched.

Add Baltimore and Las Vegas in there but either way they lost every close game
I’m gonna need a Browns report from you guys at some point today. With them being eliminated does that change who plays tonight? Will they sit Mayfield and get him started for surgery on the shoulder early? I expect the Steelers to be all geeked up tonight with Ben’s last home game. At the same time, the Steelers blow, the Browns have division revenge going, and the Browns are the better team. Let me know what you guys are hearing.

Still doesn't make sense. Arians was trying to get him back in the game and he refused. Also is there a game to be played this week? He was going to hit it yesterday or this week vs Carolina

I don’t know about next week. I had read in the lead up that yesterday was the only game guaranteed and that there was a possibility that TB starters would possibly sit or only play a half next week. That’s why myself and so many others were all over his prop bets yesterday. Dude was looking at 1 million total in 3 bonuses for something like 8 catches, 70 more receiving yards and a TD. I mean the real reason is because this cat is unstable. I’m one of those guys who buys into the CTE theory. There may have already been some issues with brain chemistry for AB and concussions may have made those issues worse. Overall, just a sad tale. Dude has so much natural talent and ability and he’s made a mess of what was trending to be a hall of fame career as one of the best WRs of his generation.

How do we even know he was benched? Not all the packages they use would include him. He had 5 targets at that point. Evans had 7 targets for the entire game. Had AB not acted like a kid, he would have likely had the 2nd most targets on the team yesterday.

He wasn't going to catch 11 passes yesterday. The yards and the tds incentives could have been reached if he didn't throw his little hissy fit

I don’t disagree. But we’re at the point where we can throw away any logic you or I would engage in as normal people. It’s clear that dude is not well. I just hope that he can get the help he needs before he hurts himself or someone else.

He would have easily reached all incentives if he hadn’t got himself suspended for 3 games. He had a nice career, he’s done.

I read somewhere that AB’s ankle was sore and he wanted out of the game.

Arians wanted him to go back in and he said no.

That was when the meltdown started.

Honestly, that changes things a lot.

AB didn’t handle it well, but this is on Arians.

If a player says he is hurt and not ready to play, it is the coach’s responsibility to respect the player in that moment.

Sounds like Arians told him to leave, and he did.

AB is an ass, but he shouldn’t be catching all the Heat for this. Trying to force a player into the game when they aren’t right is awful.

Agreed. AB may have some recourse here if this is true and he was injured.
