Yeah, I don’t have an issue with the decision overall.

The 2-9 on 2 point tries is pretty damming though.

If you are 2-9 maybe OT is the better play.
To be fair, I have not fact checked that stat but did hear someone else mention it. In addition one of the fails was when LJ missed the wide open Andrews.

Will say I didn't like the call for a designed roll out (or at least appeared to be). Limits your options on the play.

Last night I was watching sportscenter and they brought up a valid point. If this was always your plan then they should have went for 2 when it was 31-23 as well because if you miss that one then you get another chance. It is basically a 2 for 1.

So in other words the game still could have been played on Saturday
could have been? Sure.....but if you are saying it didn't help the Browns (and other teams who were moved) that is not true. Getting JJ and Teller back helps a ton.

Going for it on 4th and 6 on your own 30 very early in the 4th is good coaching?
Down 2 scores and having a hard time stopping GB no matter where they have the ball? Not sure I'd have done it but certainly justified.

I do get you are blame the coach and ref guy, though.

At least they got Johnson back. Have a semblance of a secondary and defense overall.

The Browns starting tackles should be Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin.

Jedrick Wills has Covid and Jack Conklin is hurt.

The Browns best backup tackle, Chris Hubbard is injured

the Browns 2nd best backup tackle, James Hudson has Covid.

the point being

I do not know who is playing either tackle position for the Browns in 6 hours. Maybe that dude that met Baker before the Steelers playoff game last year?
That dude is Blake hance and expect he'll play. The other guy? No idea.

I get the fact Baltimore didn't want to go to OT bc it wasn't in their favor but they were in a groove and moving the ball AND even if you get the 2 I believe Rodgers had 30 seconds to get in FG range. I mean that could be the decision that not only costs them the division but playoff hopes. Gutsy call but Huntley was looking unstoppable the last 2-3 drives plus having Tucker gives you some advantage in OT

You think I'm gonna believe anything you say?

You're the person that said LeBron's legacy is ruined because he couldn't get an injured Lakers squad to the playoffs his first year in Los Angeles.

Steph's the most overrated league MVP of all time right?

Remember when you said the Cavs would turn things around before the Heat?

Remember when you said Riley lost his fastball?

Those last three questions are all things you've said multiple times.

You're a bullshit artist.
Not sure you'd believe me either but in this case he was right.

About time he was right about something.

And in the 2021-22 NBA season thread I acknowledged I was wrong. Comment # 6682.

It's definitely one of those situations where there are strong arguments to be made both ways.

If the try was successful and they win...it was a gutsy/great call.

If they go for the tie and then lose in OT...the narrative is that they should have gone for the win instead of face Rogers in OT with a backup QB.

Conventional wisdom is...you go for the win on the road and the tie at home...they were at home.

But then, the Ravens had all of the momentum...but there's no guarantee that it carries over into OT.

Isn't it more accurate to say LJ gave it away last time as if he makes a better throw they win.

In addition, you are not taking into account they could lose in OT. AR/GB vs. Bmore/Huntley...who ya taking in OT?
Ravens had all the momentum at home

how so? Goal is still a TD if they get the ball first in OT. Or second following a GB FG.
Overtime games in general still get decided by a fg
