He's stepped up lately

Last game not his best but I know per PFF he's been really good this season. Sure gonna need him...and cannot have one of those "Ward goes out during game" deals.

It's definitely one of those situations where there are strong arguments to be made both ways.

If the try was successful and they win...it was a gutsy/great call.

If they go for the tie and then lose in OT...the narrative is that they should have gone for the win instead of face Rogers in OT with a backup QB.

Conventional wisdom is...you go for the win on the road and the tie at home...they were at home.

But then, the Ravens had all of the momentum...but there's no guarantee that it carries over into OT.

If this play would have gone down 10 years ago, Harbaugh wouldn’t have been able to explain it to his critics. They would have murdered him.

NFL coaching decisions are trending in the right way because of analytics IMO. There is a decision to be made today, whereas in the past everyone would blindly kick the extra point.

More 4th down plays/2 point conversions are good for the game. Very exciting.

Yes!! I love that coaches are not afraid to make mistakes (well, unless it hurts my team). I mean, if the odds are greatly in your favor for any move then that's what you do (saying in general, not the 2 pointer we are discussing).
