Heard some discussion on this today. Things are getting nuts. Williams has 3 years left in a deal that he already banked all the guarantee and bonus on. This is nothing more than ego because someone else got a bigger deal. He’s from my school, like the dude and he’s an all timer. But you sign that contract and bank that money you play that contract.

Nope. When you’re seen as the best in the game you flex on your value. It’s called Business not Be A Good Guy. Get what you’ve earned. The NFL asked for this because they’re in a position with no guaranteed contracts to really shit on 99% of the guys in this system. That all time GOAT LT is going to flex when he has that leverage. He can walk away and retire a Hall of Famer. Teams that lose the Super Bowl rarely make it back. Pay him to come back. This is what the league asked for. And they’re so greedy they use media and they use us fans to do their dirty work and trash these guys because it’s not good enough for them to be able to fuck over 99% of the guys.
