Columbus Blue Jacket player Johnny Gaudreau and his brother were killed last night. Apparently both were hit by a car while riding bikes. This weekend they were supposed to be groomsmen in their sister’s wedding. So sad.

The plan is to give them flexibility if needed this year......but more likely to free up cap room next year in carry over to have available not only for FA but extend their own guys (like Emerson, maybe Newsome, possibly Cooper among others).
