You are 0 for 2 and have to resort to personal attacks for being uneducated
No uptight guy...you think things were better before women had stuff going on and when minorities were under heel and they didn't have a 3 point shot. You're an intelligent person with a really weird and stupid way of seeing the world, just like selkies the communist. I give you grief because you are a good and smart poster not some idiot like the many who agree with your reactionary bullshit over on the PF. You should be better.

And you are completely wrong about the WNBA coming out "of the players pockets". If the WNBA didn't exist the owners would simply keep more profits not give it to the players. Miss me with the '0 for 2' shit, you can declare yourself the winner of arguments you lose all you want, you are still wrong. Bonus points for crying about 'personal attacks' then calling me uneducated LOL

Just give it a rest. I don't know what women or minorities did to you to make you this angry at them but life is better when you relax and enjoy how it evolves.

Yes

You have to rePort all allegations

Even fake ones
If you don’t think repeated very bad things happened and were overlooked you weren’t paying attention.

He doesn't "pay attention" he just categorizes all complaints by women/minorities/people who disagree with him as fake.

Yeah I don’t want to hear about Baylor being a Christian school. They have had 2 of the worst morally bankrupt scandals in history.

Don't disagree.

But isn't that par for the course? Not trying to push this discussion in a different direction but that's Catholic/Christian institutions bread and butter. Do as we say not as we do.

If anything her stance was more in line with what would be expected rather than the men's hoops and football teams.

I think the truth is that the NBA does subsidize the WNBA. They happen to believe that overall its a winning proposition though in terms of getting more female fans involved. Hard to argue with a business decision that has been made for so long.

Exactly...these people are not known for being stupid with money, and businesses invest in startups that cost money at first then pay off later all the time. It's not the players' salaries doing it, if the owners didn't spend on the WNBA they'd pocket those $.

And it seems to be working, the college and pro women's games have both been growing steadily in popularity and revenue. I suspect the WNBA will be profitable someday not too far from now. Probably never the juggernaut the NBA is but profits are profits. Right now googling shows they had maybe $60 mil revenue last year and $70 mil in costs, so getting close. The players aren't missing out on that $10 million shortfall LOL
