What have the Sixers accomplished lately?

Other than 2nd round exits of course.

:heh:
What do the Sixers have to do with my statement other than your anger and pettiness? I’m talking about the Lakers.

Caleb has not made a decision on the NFL draft.

@trojanfan12, @Black Adam

According to his Dad, if he doesn't like the situation that he could be drafted into, he'll return to college.

That's one of the "unintended consequences" of NIL. Players don't have to try to get to the NFL asap.

I think he'll end up declaring, but he has choices. Nothing wrong with weighing them.

So I assume he is going to practice hard and plan on playing the bowl game then. Now that we have NIL I don’t see a reason for any of these guys to skip the bowl games. You get paid you play.

No idea if he's playing in the bowl game or not. I'd expect that he'll make that decision after he decides if he's declaring or not.

I'd hope that he plays, I've never been a fan of players sitting out bowl games even before NIL. To me, if you're on the team and healthy enough to play, you should play. You have teammates depending on you.

I think the fact that he didn’t even talk to reporters after the last game kind of says it all. He’s coming out, and his dad’s a flake.

I mean seriously, if you take NIL money to play how can you not be required to play?

Unless there is some language in their NIL deal that requires it, I'm not sure a player can be forced to play in a bowl game.

Yeah....

And risk injury when you are a top NFL prospect? I would be shocked.

I get that risking injury thing. But that can happen in any game. Hell, it can happen in a pick up basketball game or when working out preparing for the draft.

To me, if you're healthy enough to play and there's a game on the schedule...you owe it to your teammates to be out there with them.

I was glad that he didn't do as some of the tv talking heads were suggesting and shut it down as soon as USC was officially out of the cfp/PAC title hunt.
