I get that risking injury thing. But that can happen in any game. Hell, it can happen in a pick up basketball game or when working out preparing for the draft.

To me, if you're healthy enough to play and there's a game on the schedule...you owe it to your teammates to be out there with them.

I was glad that he didn't do as some of the tv talking heads were suggesting and shut it down as soon as USC was officially out of the cfp/PAC title hunt.

I get both sides of it.

Unless there is some language in their NIL deal that requires it, I'm not sure a player can be forced to play in a bowl game.

I think maybe NIL deals should include insurance for the guys of some sort in case they get hurt.

Honestly, I think that should be offered to all college athletes at the schools or conferences expense. They all risk potentially life altering injuries.

Panthers owner is a combo of Daniel Snyder and Queen Bitch (now deceased) Georgia Frontiere. All three had/have way more money than brains and none of them have a friking clue how to run a successful sports franchise!!

They’re really banged up at LB right now. They were already down Nakobe Dean to a foot injury and this week they lost Cunningham to a hamstring issue. They are in need of competent bodies for sure.
