It doesn’t matter what I like . Jackson is not getting what he wants.
...and neither are the Ravens apparently?

Possibly sure...and neither are the Ravens apparently?
Well, Carr is a better QB than Jones so there is that.....and Jones potentially making 50 mill?Herbert, Burrow (and maybe Tua) will eclipse those numbers soon enough. It's all about timing and the endless climbing of QB salaries.
Carr's contract is just as egregious if you want to compare it to Mahomes', lol.
Yeah but with the potential out in 2 years. I get it was more guaranteed but a different scenario imo. He was basically getting his '22 and '23 salary and bonus at signing then the out was this offseason which it looks like he is leaving. Different than a true long-term contractHalf guaranteed (more or less) is a slap in the face. Rodgers got more guaranteed over 4 years at his advanced age.

Absurd.
Not going to rank them in order but you can't leave off Brady bc he played since 2019. The whole point was production from 20-present.Show your hand. Here’s mine but I’m only giving 9. Hurts is a top 10 QB right now but because he’s my guy I’m not going to slot him. My list isn’t based on years ago. It’s about right now with a focus on where they are going forward
1. Mahomes
2. Burrow
3. Allen
4. Herbert
5. Lawrence
6. Lamar
7. Goff
8. Cousins
9. Rodgers
I have your guy Watson as an incomplete. If he comes back at even 85-90% of what he was he gets slotted into my top ten.
I would take Carr over Jones with Jones have the better season last year but Carr has more of a track record and I like the fit in N.O.Well, Carr is a better QB than Jones so there is that.....and Jones potentially making 50 mill?

Tom Brady is retired my guy.Not going to rank them in order but you can't leave off Brady bc he played since 2019. The whole point was production from 20-present.
Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, Herbert, Goff, Lawrence, Rodgers, Brady, Lawrence, Hurts. So he is at 11.
No way I have him at 6 but 11-13 is fine. Stafford is a question mark bc of his injury but if he recovers he is no doubt before Lamar. Wilson had a shit OC and was with a new team, another question mark. Watson is up for debate and this season will determine his fate. So I am not counting those 3. Stafford, Wilson were better than Lamar in 20 & 21. He is still at 11 on my list.
I'm not putting Jackson over any of those guys bc of his passing ability and his now injury issues going forward.
Most NFL fans would agree.
LOL.
Tom Brady is retired my guy.
And it could have been a mirage. Let's see him do it for more than just 1 season.Doesn't make them right however. That Jones/Daboll combo worked well last year without any notable, reliable targets most of the year. It's not like they had a top 5 TE and a top slot guy to ignore in favor of a shiny new toy gifted by the Pack.
So you fell for it?Tom Brady is retired my guy.
And it could have been a mirage. Let's see him do it for more than just 1 season.
Carr has proven to be a good starter for his career. 9 seasons, not just 1.
Did Mahomes choose to play a playoff game on a compromised knee on the last year of his deal?
That’s the fact that’s important.
Mahomes has never had a contract year. He renegotiated as soon as he was eligible to do so.No,
But pretty sure his contract year he missed 1 regular season game with a leg injury that was supposed to sideline him 4-6 weeks.
Maybe it wasn’t that year, but I think it was.
Smart manMahomes has never had a contract year. He renegotiated as soon as he was eligible to do so.
Yep. It’s stupid for a man to play on the final year of his deal in a league where guaranteed contracts are a mortal sin.Smart man
