I have. I have seen a successful collegiate QB with the best talent in the country around him. He’s by no means a can’t miss prospect.

Who claimed anyone was a can't-miss prospect? I said I believe he's a better bet than Fields.

Yep he has a lot of great traits and he could end up being a franchise QB but he isn't Burrow or Luck. To me that is the definition of a "can't miss" prospect. That size will definitely hurt him. Kyler had a couple nice years but regressed. I will say throwing wise Young seems to be much better, he doesn't have near the athleticism and speed as Kyler as a runner. I think Young is a better prospect than Stroud but not to the level of "can't miss".

Burrow wasn't can't-miss either, there were some doubts since he was only had the one complete year.

Fields isn't the Bears main problem on offense. And Young isn't a can't miss # 1 pick.

Man, you guys like to move the goalposts. I said I like Young more than Fields. Suddenly that means can't miss, lol.

He played two years at LSU and he was a can’t miss prospect.

I'm sure Luck had some doubts too. As far as a QB prospect you couldn't do much better. Both were rated extremely high. I don't see the love for Young being the same to this point.

Again, never said he was.

Well @fightinfunbags said he wasn't a can't miss prospect and you seemed to disagree. Could be wrong.

To me, you only move Fields for a can't miss prospect though or a guy that is without a doubt better than Fields. It's a big risk bc you took a QB 2 years ago in the 1st. You took Trubisky early. The Bears can't keep trading QB's they drafted. You get more value moving the #1 for picks (at least not knowing Fields' value at this point). Now, if Chicago thinks Young is MUCH better than Fields I can vouch for that pick but with Chicago's history it might not matter bc of their history developing QB's and they don't have much around him.

McShay said earlier today that Young is only 5’10 and weighs less than 200 pounds. This will impact his draft stock. Young is a solid prospect. He’s not a “can’t miss” prospect. Can’t believe Mahomes name was invoked.

Watch him play. Not equating, comparing. It's in the way he extends plays, runs under control without getting hit, etc.

Anyone in a NBA fantasy league that needs one more? I am interested in joining on league but it has to be weekly
I ended up joining a random league. This guy created a bunch of leagues, I think like 6. The top 2 from each league get invited to a league next season. I didn't start off too well I had a ton of injuries and I lost Cunningham early. I had the 1st pick overall and I took Jokic.

This is my roster:

Washington released Carson Wentz.

Watch him end up in Carolina.
You think Frank Reich is going to risk Wentz getting him fired again? I don’t. Wentz will hang out and sign late when the draft and free agency shakes out so he can go somewhere and compete for the starting job. He’s more likely to be a Raider than he is a Panther.

Another thing to consider is that a lot of QB's from bigger programs tend to struggle in the NFL, especially early in their careers.

Their teams have such a talent advantage that they're used to throwing to wide open receivers and having all day to throw. Unless there's a blown coverage or a DB falls down, you don't see a lot of that in the NFL.

That's tough adjustment to make.
