Is anyone excited for baseball or just me?

Last year felt so weird that this feels like our first real baseball season since 2019

More excited if we had an owner with a will to win, but I do like sports overlaps.

I am ready for baseball.

Unfortunately, if the labor stuff doesn’t get worked out, we might not get baseball in 2022.
Might be time for the owners to suck it up and lock them out as long as it takes to get what they want.

Guess the problem is owners cannot agree among themselves on many issues (like a cap, for instance).

Now that's funny. Kinda reminds me of Billy Packer's dumbass rant back in '06 when he went on & on about how George Mason didn't belong in the Tourney. All they did that year was make it to the Final Four.

The baseball MLBPA are totally out of touch and the owners do themselves no favors with not being more transparent with their finances

the Jenny Vrentas story on SI about Deshaun Watson is pretty damning stuff. It seems totally credible.

I would not want DeShaun Watson on my team.

My guess is he has some very very real issues in front of him.

Both sides have handled things poorly. Just seems like work stoppage is inevitable.

And the owners are just as much at fault as the MLBPA.

Agreed. If they wanted a cap they need to explain why that would benefit. And the players need to see the finances
