@bksballer89 not feeling great about this one. This kid is a difference maker in the secondary and could start right away.

BKS dude picked Oregon. 8-4 campaign = major leakage for a class that was once number 1 in the nation. Irish alums have to step up their NIL game.

The Braves had 3 HOFers in their starting rotation for a decade and won 1 championship. I saw my Phil’s put together a run between 07-11. The two best rosters in 2010 and 2011 didn’t even make the WS. The 2008 Phil’s that won the WS had a rotation of Cole Hamels, Brett Myers, Jamie Moyer, and Joe Blanton. Baseball is a crazy game and anything can happen in a 3, 5 or 7 game series.
Yep...didn't win but could argue since they got good in the 90s the 2 worst Tribe playoff teams went the furthest. 1997 and 2016

So Oregon has flipped 4 star Baylor QB (Novosad), 5 star ND S (Bowen), and landed DE Uiagelelei....

LOL. None of the teams involved are a threat (Baylor, ND, or Oregon).
I would give ND more of a shot for sure. Unless Oregon moves conferences they can win the PAC every year once USC/UCLA make the move. Might be their best bet getting to the expanded CFP. Oregon is pretty irrelevant though. Baylor the same. ND definitely is a better program

It’s all legal now though. Everybody can hand out bags if they choose.

I love the Irish but are they? ND always seems to be chasing the change in college football. Now it’s NIL. If they want to actually compete for money, alums have to step up.

Yeah, I don't see it either. They may be the biggest threat of the 3, but they're still down the list.

I think if they’re ever going to do it again, it’s going to come with a guy like Freeman. He can recruit for sure. He can coach for sure. His players love him. Can he be that CEO that can manage a championship operation? TBD

@Shanemansj13 @Stakesarehigh @dtgold88

Hear about this? From columbus dispatch.

'It's a great group' Despite NIL obstacles, Ohio State football signs No. 5-ranked class

According to 247sports composite rankings (have no idea what that is) Buckeyes moved from 7th to 5th recently. And the average players ranking of recruits is 2nd in the nation.

Side stuff. Seven players signed from Ohio. The '23 class is loaded with receivers. Four star recruit Lincoln Kienholz is the QB of the future. This is cool. Will Smith, Jr. is following in late fathers footsteps and will be playing in Columbus.

They did pretty well. Wish they could get someone to recruit the back 7 on defense anywhere in the ballpark of what Hartline is doing at WR.

Wondering what they did today to move them from 7th to 5th.

Not where we had been in recent rankings, but still seems pretty solid.
