Except for a few gift cards...all Christmas shopping is done and I haven't left my recliner.
cool...but it's not what it is.They bought him, it is what it is
didn't Cousins get a fully guaranteed deal at one time from Minnesota (but only 2-3 years)?Considering that from what has been reported, the other owners weren't at all happy about that and that the NFL doesn't do fully guaranteed contracts and that much better quarterbacks with much more impressive resumes than DeShaun Watsons have never been offered a fully guaranteed contract...I'd say it's a pretty solid bet.
agree....but hard for me to believe Cleveland was only team willing to make a fully guaranteed offer. Possible? sure.Maybe...but $250 million fully guaranteed in a league that doesn't do fully guaranteed and where the next hit you take could end your career would be real hard to turn down.
Nobody else was gonna offer him a fully guaranteed deal with that off the field nonsense surrounding him. That is why he agreed to be traded there when they were never a serious contender for his services.agree....but hard for me to believe Cleveland was only team willing to make a fully guaranteed offer. If they were "never a serious contender" they never would have gotten a meeting with him (as some didn't who wanted one).Nobody else was gonna offer him a fully guaranteed deal with that off the field nonsense surrounding him. Until the last minute when they fully guaranteed his deal.
Then explain why he almost committed to another team until the Browns fully guaranteed his deal?If they were "never a serious contender" they never would have gotten a meeting with him (as some didn't who wanted one).
If making it up as you go, be more creative.
Can't fix stupid with some of these homers.....
Never heard he "almost committed to anyone" that was factual , but even if he did the Browns were among the only teams able to get a meeting with him so they were a serious contender. Hell, you could say he almost committed to the Browns before offering a big deal but unless he commits who cares? Then explain why he almost committed to another team until the Browns fully guaranteed his deal?
*Crickets*
You claimed the Browns were never a serious contender yet they were one of a handful of teams granted a meeting with Watson (many others tried but never got a meeting). Can't fix stupid with some of these homers.....
Yep first 15 minutes was rough but we settled down. Had 2 great scoring chance but need more aggression on those corners. Pulisic delivered 2 great balls on the corners and we did nothing with itGreat first half for the USA
5th in the world, I believe.Where is England ranked?
