I did not mention the Pads n my post- but if that offense gets going they are another dangerous team

really the only teams that I do not give any chance are the Mariners, Blue Jays and Cardinals.

Cardinals and Blue Jays just do not have the starting pitching - especially the Cardinals.

Mariners dont have enough hitting.

Big credit to the Pads though just mangling Sherzer. It has to be intimidating seeing Sherzer and DeGrom in a 3 game series but what a way to start it.

Phillies crushed Helsey who has been dominant this year. Unbelievable.

fun day of baseball. I had plans to golf a while back- my buddy is taking me to his country club- so ill be listening to most of the game on the course- but lets hope the Guardians can put the Rays away.

I dont want to have to face Springer. He is another lefty and has been arguably their best pitcher the last couple months since McClanahan started coming down to earth- he kicked the Tribe's ass a couple weeks ago too

by no means are the Guardians out of the woods- but its just so fun to watch playoff baseball. I hope we get another series.

while I agree with some of this I still believe getting older is not going to work nearly as well for Wilson as it has Brady who I believe you mentioned earlier.

Yep. I like Ranger Suarez long term. However, he’s a young kid who has shown this season that he can be easily flustered if things don’t break right for him. I worry about him vs those RH bats of Albert Goldschmidt and Arenada. Additionally, the back end of the Cardinals pen is spent with him sending his closer out for a 5 out save. He sacrificed today for yesterday and didn’t even get yesterday. Have to make them pay today. Miklos on the bump for the Cards so maybe the LH hitters of Schwarber Harper Stott and Marsh get it going today.

that- and there are at least 4 really good teams in the Astros, Dodgers, Yanks and Braves.

There is a second tier of pretty good teams too. Mets, Guardians have some advantages....

If Phillies get good performances from their pen they are not bad- Nola and Wheeler is a nice 1-2 combo.

Honestly- just because of how baseball is- I think the Astros are the favorite- id then go Braves- then Dodgers- then Yankees- then Mets--- those are my top 5 teams right now. All have gigantic payrolls.

If the Guardians can beat the Rays and get to the Yanks they have a chance though- I think the Yanks will rightly be pretty big favorites- esp. with how Bieber would only pitch one game in all likelihood- but I dont think the Guardians make it easy on them.

I think he could pitch 2 if we get there, couldn't he (though needs to go 5)? such a big help if we could end it today. Then I think we'd go (assuming I'm right about dates)....
