Nobody is interested in trading for him; they may be willing to tolerate trading for his expiring contract to get draft assets and some future cap relief.

Teams like the Pacers and Jazz have been at least willing to talk, but the Lakers aren't going to settle until a decision is made with Kyrie.

It's just amazing that a player as talented as Russ has played for 4 teams the last 4 years. Has he gotten outta the first round since OKC got to the Finals in '11? His game doesn't seem to fit in well with any teams.

Ball dominant players without a reliable jumper that don't play much defense either are a tough sell. He's still really quick, he's dangerous pushing the ball on the break, a solid passer and is still an athletic freak. He's just not a good fit in today's jump shooting NBA anymore, and when you combine that with a $47M salary, he's running out of options. Now, if he takes market value after this coming season, he can prolong his career and potentially work his way into a role somewhere, but he hasn't shown much desire to change thus far.

Thanks for posting that. I obviously haven't been paying much attention to moves lately. With the exception of the Celtics.

Who the hell is Raul Neto & when did the Cavs get Lopez?

The only person I was aware of they picked up was Rubio.

No wonder they got older quicker.

And I hope Scottie Pippen Jr. can stick around. His dad was kinda good.

Are the Guardians an NBA basketball team? I'm confused.
I thought we were in the off topic thread- during an NBA offseason- well after the vast majority of free agency and the draft- and tons of baseball talk and football talk.

I'm confused.

Lakers = no talented players 25 or younger

Cavs = 6 talented player 25 or younger

Cavs would not trade Okoro or Agbaji for any 3 of the young guys on the Lakers. Really- pretty much none of the Laker young guys have any value.

Yeah that list definitely doesn't tell the whole story.

The best players on the team are all over 29. All those guys under 24 are either part of the bench or too young to even project.

In high school and throughout my 20's...had a big ol' crush on her.

Used to go to her Koala Blue store she had in L.A. when it was open.

A friend of mine named his daughter and his boat after her. lol

@thunderc what did Gundy say? I know you got inside sources

During a meeting one of the players was distracted and had his tablet out. Gundy took the tablet and read it aloud for everyone. Apparently it had the N-word in it a couple of times and he read those as well.

I have a feeling there may be more to the story, but that's what's out so far.

Was embarrassing a player that wasn’t paying attention in meetings by reading what he was writing on an iPad. Apparently it was lyrics to a song with the word in it that can’t be said. He read it. He self reported the incident to the head coach, who did the same. The rest is history. They are making it out like he resigned, he did not.

This was put out after the shit storm hit talk radio locally today. People are pissed, letters from a ton of former black players speaking on Gundys behalf.

I know we don't discuss golf much but the whole LIV league is fools gold. When something makes zero sense financially it is doomed to fail. 400 million for 14 tournaments? Golf is not popular like that unless it's a major. And it certainly doesn't carry enough water to shell out 30 to 40M per tournament.

But yet they are and are going to continue doing so. I see no way the liv players don’t win this in court.
