This is the NFL’s fault for giving people like Kraft, Jones, and Snyder slaps on the wrist for their transgressions. Can’t have different rules for owners and different rules for players.
If the six game thing holds up he got off light...So the NFL now is going to have to deal with the public relations nightmare of Watson going back to Houston to play vs the Texans.
The NFL will appeal. They won’t just sit back and accept 6 games. The ground swell of public perception will be on their side too.If the six game thing holds up he got off light...
Why didn't you just say "Beetlejuice" lol. Now WiggityWack will be running his stupid dick holster again...Where are all the Browns guys? All things considered this was a great outcome for them. I would be in here flexing.
we have jobs.Where are all the Browns guys? All things considered this was a great outcome for them. I would be in here flexing.
I don’t know. If you’re going to the extent of signaling rotten shit to all the females of Cleveland in order to have a talented QB play the pay off there is actually the ability to play said QB.we have jobs.
and its really not something to "celebrate".....though it does feel good that @DJ and @thunderc were so wrong.
again- when 2 grand juries could not even charge him with a misdemeanor- it seemed like something weird was going on. I still dont think we have all the information.....i want to read Robinson's report.
This is definitely not something to celebrate....but just to take and move on.

I agree. But what does that process look like? Does the NFL have to appeal or can they say “thanks for the guidance but this is what we’re gonna do.”
Yup Goodell can do what he wants now, and should.I agree. But what does that process look like? Does the NFL have to appeal or can they say “thanks for the guidance but this is what we’re gonna do.”
Yep if they handle those differently this is probably closer to a year imoThis is the NFL’s fault for giving people like Kraft, Jones, and Snyder slaps on the wrist for their transgressions. Can’t have different rules for owners and different rules for players.
The NFLPA is waiting, the way he handled the owners screwed him. He doesn’t want to go down that road.Yup Goodell can do what he wants now, and should.
Congrats on being right, so far, on a total sleezeball. It’s not over. The NFLPA is waiting, the way he handled the owners screwed him. He doesn’t want to go down that road.
Pretty sure you said Watson would get a year or an indefinite suspension and I said 6-10. Looks like I was right on the money.

Never said otherwise. It’s just you not looking at the facts and thinking with your heart.Congrats on being right, so far, on a total sleezeball. It’s not over.
This whole case goes back to the owners, it’s all about the owners. Goodell screwed the pooch, if handled differently I think the Browns might not even trade for Watson. I’m sure it was something they talked about beforehand and used it as leverage. Not so sure about that.
It would seem a bit disingenuous to bring in a 3rd person who is supposed to be independent, give them the authority to hear the case and decide on punishment, then turn around and go against their ruling.
Especially so when you consider that nothing has been done to owners who are supposedly held to a higher standard.
