They were going for a title. I'm not going to blame them for going all out and trying to get a title by 2016 or 2017. They were not winning a title with Wiggins there.

It was a James move which lead to a spiral of bad decisions.

Give me Wiggins and the cap space that Love/Tristan are chewing up and it would have been easy to build a better roster.

Why is Kyrie getting the basically free pass, when he has been atrocious.

#blamethewhiteguy

I wouldn't say he's been atrocious. He played poorly in game 2. Was probably their 2nd best player in game 1 and been good all playoffs long

They're were not trying to win in 2018 or 2019. The goal was to win in 2015 or 2016.

I'm talking Finals.
He shot poorly in game 1, but was statistically saved because of FTs.
His D has been terrible.

Give me Wade, still today, for these types of games any and every day of the week.

I agree about wade over Kyrie in these moments. At the end of the day almost everyone been bad for them. Lebron played solid in game 1 but in game 2 everyone was bad except RJ

I agree, but am not surprised because all along I knew they couldn't defend.
As most of us pointed out last year, the Cavs injuries put less offense on the court, but drastically improved the D.

Warriors can pretty much get to the rim whenever they want.
They still shoot a ton of 3s, because that's just who they are.

If the Cavs are going to win tonight, then it will be by doing what they were doing against the EC.
Free flowing ball movement and making a ton of 3's.
If they buy into the play bigger/Mozgov nonsense they will be down 0-3.

I completely agree. People are saying Cavs are trying to beat warriors at their own game. No. Ball movement and shooting 3s is what they've done all year long. It's different from what the warriors do but people see 3 point attempts and call them the same thing.

Cavs need to stick to their identity and ignore the stupid outside noise from wannabe analysts.

There is a game today. I thought NBA season was over already.
You would think so reading through this thread but no.... contrary to popular belief the Finals is not best of 3.

It's not time for LeBron to go hero mode. That might win them a game or two but will not win them the series.

Cavs best shot is getting things going as a team, getting back to ball movement and getting hot from 3. I realize that the warriors D makes that a tough task but it's their best shot.

Agree, but if they keep Wiggins , wouldn't they have had his (Love) cap space to acquire another or more players?

If Wiggins would have signed with Klutch, that would have been the case.

It was a power play by James combined with him thinking that Love was something that he's not.

It's not hindsight to me.
I said it back then.

If/When that 4th Warriors win happens. I'm letting @Shanemansj13 and @gordontrue know to avert their eyes from the bastard thread that will spawn. Should they want to get stuck in that potential mess, it's on them.

Be my guest. Some Cavs fans put it on themselves, even though they have suffered through the years. I predicted the Cavs to win through confidence of the team and it still isn't over. btw every team the Cavs play....I hate so me talking shit about Curry and all that is expected but for the record I do hate Draymond with a deep passion :laugh3:

The Cavs just need to take it one game at a time and give 110% effort, that's all I ask for.

So Wiggins is $5.8 mil, considerably less than Love but since they signed him first and the players they already had to max so they could go over the cap, how much would they really have to work with? I think they could have picked up one pretty good player. I haven't done the math so not sure.

Me either.
I don't remember.
Everything potentially changed once James knew Love was coming.

My best guess is that several things could have and would have been thought out differently if they had kept Wiggins.
