Leon couldn't get a bunt down, let's see what he does with 2 strikes.

Leon grounds to the pitcher, Tejada drops the ball at 2nd, all runners safe. Bernadina got a piece of Tejada after he dropped it at 2nd and he's a little hurt.

Tejada appears to be ok, staying in the game. Byrdak is out, though.

Beato in to face DeRosa with runners on 1st and 2nd with no outs. DeRosa bunts, Beato gets the lead runner at 3rd. 1st and 2nd with one out, now. Lombardozzi up.

Lombo singles up the middle, too hard though, and CF was playing shallow. Bases loaded, 1 out for Harper.

Just flipped over the the Yankees Mariners game. Very weird seeing Ichiro in a Yankee uniform.

According to MASN, that was the biggest offensive inning of the year for the Nats: 6 runs.

Cedeno hits into the Mets 3rd double play of the game. 2 outs.

Fly ball to Corey Brown in left ends it: 8-2 Nats in 10 innings. With the Braves loss at Miami, Nats now 4 1/2 games up in the NL East, and match their season high at 17 games above .500. Both starting pitchers were very good tonight, Mets bullpen and defense costs them.

Edit: Also only a game behind the Yankees for the best record in MLB.
