Yeah, it's going to happen. Not even a question. They've done a lot of research, and the way they read it, it's the only thing to do for his long term health. They are going to follow the blueprint they used with Jordan Zimmermann last year.

Yeah, he keeps saying things like "they're going to have the rip the ball out of my hand." I think he just said it again yesterday. But Rizzo said that he is the only one making this call, and it's already been made...just a matter of when.

Speaking of bullpens, this was from Zuckerman on twitter about the Braves options tonight:

I am not surprised about Medlen after pitching 2 earlier today and 1 last night. I was surprised they even had Kimbrel warming up last game with him pitching the last 3 days, not surprised he wont pitched.
