LSU has consistently scheduled big games. I will say Auburn is a notch above at the moment with Washington last year, Oregon this year, and they had a series against Clemson.

While LSU does schedule one big game (the SEC office schedules their other big games for them) we are talking about P5 teams scheduling TWO P5 OOC opponents every year, not one. Texas is the only P5 OOC opponent for LSU this year. The other three are Georgia Southern, Nortwestern State and Utah State.

He’s only played 3 great teams and 3 big games in 3 years and what a surprise none of them were against PAC 12 teams. In those same 3 seasons he’s gone 0-3 in the Fiesta, Rose, and playoff game when he actually faced a real team. In other words 1 great team per season, all in the postseason against non-conference foes. I’m not counting the Auburn opener last year because they were an 8-5 team which of course he lost that too. He didn’t lose his big games at Boise......ever.

I think the games will be a sellout from the 1st one. And what an upgrade. I've went to a couple Rebels games at Sam boyd Stadium. That place is just awful when the season kicks off. Way too damn hot.
