1. There's usually more than 1 goal scored in hockey
2. They attempt more than 1 shot on goal every 20 minutes.
3. Hitting is allowed
4. The game is much faster and cooler to watch
5. Nobody gets killed either during or after the game

I just came across a "malls in the 1980's" pictorial, and it made me both laugh and nostalgic. I used to LOVE this look for women. In fact, wife # 1 pulled this off pretty well.

what? fuck no. hockey is terrible. grown men pulling each other's hair trying to throw a roundhouse on iceskates is worse than seeing 2 high school nerds bitchslap each other in a video game store.

soccer, you can only have 3 subs during the entire game. no time outs. it's an iron man match to the finish.
