Brady missed games from a suspension and had only 5 games with Gronkowski, though. Julio Jones has been good all season as far as I can tell.

Yeah because the poll says I'm a homer. That's why Ryan has 2 times as many votes as the next guy. Just like the Winston vs Dak poll and the @seattle vs @Dallas poll. I'm the delusional one. Julio missed 3 games and was dinged up in a few others but largely he's been great. Freeman has stayed healthy although Coleman has been hurt a lot. The big key for Ryan is the OL has not missed one game due to injury all year. Only team in the league like that. That's a big advantage

I think it's Ryan's year and I have no problem with that. All of these guys mentioned have had great years. Carr definitely deserves some votes. Rodgers, Brady are perennial contenders every year but maybe we need someone different in there. Dak and Zeke in Dallas deserve a lot of kudos for a great year as rookies but neither is MVP, imo. Maybe a co MVP in Dallas for Dak, Zeke and the Oline. Matt Ryan has had a great season and deserves the award.

Matt Ryan is my pick for the following reasons:

1. STATS. He's 2nd in the league in total passing yards, passing yards per game, and touchdown-to-int difference. He's #1 in the league in yards per attempt at 9.3. Nobody comes closer to Mattie Ice here. Nobody.

2. WINNING. He helped his team get the 2nd seed in the NFC and win 11 regular season games.

3. HE DESERVES IT. Brady has 5 MVP trophies. Rodgers are 3. Matty Ice has none and deserves recognition for his greatness for this season and previous seasons.

I give it to Rodgers over Ryan. More TD's same amount of INT's and a better rating.
