Yeah they are having some decent AB's just not resulting in much offensively today. Hamels is doing a good job outside of 2 mistakes to Cano and Seager.

Might as well overreact because it's the 1st game of the season but this is the same shit and crap we've seen for the past decade. I'm willing to give the new regime the benefit of the doubt but my god... same old story anyone? That 5th inning was a fucking disaster because no way you win if you give a major league team that MANY opportunities to put points on the scoreboard.

As Mariner fans, tough for us not to overreact. We have to see it to believe it unfortunately.

It's just 1 game but man it sure would be nice not to face plant in April for once. Hopefully they just don't get swept here.

That was Felix's 1st career loss on opening day... He was 8-0 prior to today along w/ 3 no decisions...

Meh, first game. Felix had one shaky inning and even then he'd have still won if it wasn't for what should be a rare double error inning behind him. Can't tell much about the batting only having faced so far a great team ace.

Just nice to have baseball back again.

It's one game guys against an ace. Aces against aces with a completely re-vamped roster for the most part and a fluky inning that resulted in 3 runs.

Rangers are far more talented than Seattle so I'm not sure this really matters. It's one game. Who cares. I'm sure some people were even screaming after Cano's homer, "OMG CANO IS BACK ZOGMFMFMFFFFFF!!!!"
