Romero,,,,would be nice...but anyone else not real hopeful? I mean the Mariners NEVER produce hitters through their system anymore.

Out of all the highly touted, highly drafted guys....... Seager is serviceable MLB player. Before him.....?

I actually like Romero's bat a lot and I like the path he has taken through the minors. They haven't rushed him and he has been able to hit well at every level. I think he will be able to hit in the majors I just hope the Mariners give him a chance to prove himself.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Romero on the roster to start the season.

Exactly. It would be great if he turns out to be a solid player at the major league level.
