I just noticed on the chart, us and the Pirates are the only two teams not in the top 5 or bottom 5 at any position. That kind of defines us. Middle as middle can get.

The #Mariners haven’t scored without hitting a home run since the 7th inning against the Yankees on Tuesday night.They’ve scored 4 runs in the last 24 innings.

I have said it a dozen time this year and today was much the same. All his pitches are middle-middle and up. What happened to throwing at the knee level? Use his movement ala Maddux. It isn't his stuff it is purely his location. Sad they don't fix it.

stand by what i've said about kirby. he's a prima donna bitch who bought into his own hype. zero mental fortitude.

having some of the worst offensive production in the league was never going to keep us in a division lead for long. pitching was godly for so long. they've still been good, but unless they're literally history-making, they can't overcomes such glaring deficits everywhere else.

wouldn't be a bit surprised if we finish may a couple games below .500

i think the bottom line is we either win in the shittiest division in the AL or run a very high risk of finishing 4th or worse in the wild card race. it's going to be an unpleasant ride. a couple of moments like the first game of the yanks series will still happen once a month or whatever. guess i should just look forward to those.
