1 hit through 4 and K-Rod 0 for 1.

The only surprise is the Ms only have 4 strikeouts so far.

Thankfully I'm at work and can't watch this.

Their guy played before our guy. Nice trade.

  • The White Sox have called up former Mariners outfield prospect Zach DeLoach, who made his MLB debut last night.

the yanks are good and m's pitching can't be exemplary all the time. offense picked up the pitching for one of the only times this year in game 1. need to see not a little, but a LOT more of that if this team is going to contend against good teams.

The team has looked like crap several times against Yanks and Orioles this trip yet only in M's fashion they can somehow turn it positive. Take 2 of 3 from Nationals and they finish with a .500 road trip. Not sure how they do it, but they do somehow.

First 2 games of this series were fun, but the last 2 games still show the glaring issues facing this team. 1 hit in this stadium where a pop fly can leave the park is terrible. Unfortunately this is the Mariners offense. Maybe they'll luck out and Texas and Houston will both flounder the entire year and 54% will be enough to win the worst division in baseball. But I'm not gonna hold my breath.

better than i thought through what i considered the toughest part of may with the kc/orioles/ny series. i figured they'd come out a game over .500 and they're 3 over.

like nw said, a good series against washington keeps the record okay, but gosh, wouldn't it be nice to see offense and pitching do well at the same time a little more often?

It's one thing when you're up against a team that's doing really well coming into the series...

To make it look that obvious, especially by NOT EVEN TRYING these last couple of games...that's unacceptable.

But then, what else can be done? Dipoto has them by the balls and refuses to let them go much higher than his 54% goal.

Sure, we may still lead the division, but it's only a matter of time before this thirst for mediocrity costs us that lead, and eventually our season.

We didn't just lose these last couple of games...

WE QUIT.
