And the wheels on the Kikuchi Bus come flying off once again. I won't miss him next year.

Text book example of why the Ms are -55 in run differential with a damn good win %age . Get taken to the wood shed multiple times in a season for an 11-2 ass whoopin' and it really skews the numbers. Then win a bunch of 1 run games and mystery solved.

Wasn't paying much attn to the run diff, but yep, it all makes sense. The faucet is either just a trickle or it's turned on full blast. lol
Have a feeling this thread is going to be a really long one if the remaining games are all posted here. Makes sense though cuz then we can follow: "the good" - "the bad" - and - "the ugly" - all in sequence. Remember, for those who care, - Wednesday's game will be on FB, so no Root, no Blow, no Sims, and no Goldsmith.

Im not sure how we will be able to get rid of him unless he pulls a Sasaki or Johjima and goes home on his own. The 4 year option I would think is dead at this point but I would think he will pick up his 13 mil player option since he wont get that much elsewhere. Even though I would much rather have Anderson over Kikuchi

They better start asking themselves: Being this close to finishing the season, are they wanting to compete or not?!
It is easier to be the underdog, but once you get close the pressure changes. That is when you want guys that have been through it before. That is why I enjoy the vet experience on the roster. But vets that still produce.

The question is no longer us waiting for it is will they be available. Injuries happen, but frequent injuries become a concern. It took 3 years to get Haniger back. I get your point though and hope it is just a matter of waiting.

One bright side of last night (which I didn't see live). Great arm for 3B if needed.

seager has an option...for next year...my guess...it gets picked up....
haniger and seager are the old guys of the team.........dont really want to break anything up...right now....

seager could easly go for 2 more years..or even 3 before he starts...a bit of noticeable decline...the thing is...the mariners could use that time to..
get a replacement...
you could say...toro...is that...but i think..right now...he is a 2B..for..them...then they still need a good back up ss/2B..then a guy..who can take over..for seager.......
and they dont have to have a seager replacement for...3 years...

idk..where they see shed long...but i think..he will be a LF...haggerty..could make it..if he hits 240-260 out of spring....but i think they need to part with moore...(he will get picked up somewhere)...i dont really like that..cuz..i scouted..him at albuquerque.
.i think it was..anyway..and i thought he would make it..

...but sometimes...teams..and players...need to move on..........

Kelenic needs to work on taking control and calling the other guys off before someone gets Betancourted if he's going to be playing CF. Plays like that are dangerous.

Or we could play a left fielder who has any business being there for the first time in decades. Looked like JK was calling for it and Bauers didn't peel off.

The failed bunt was huge! Certainly that drive to the warning track would score the runner from 3rd. I’m so tired of seeing these guys not being able to get key bunts down.
