Not looking good going into Oakland but if we can't get at least 2 of these games....well, no need to say what the consequences will be. 2018 will end up just like the last several years and the M's non-post season record continues.

Runners on 2nd and 3rd- 1 out, then 2 outs, Seager walks to load the bases, Healy gets an RBI single. Sacks loaded 2 outs and Gamel walks for an RBI, sacks juiced for Zunino gets on first with a grounder by a 3rd base error and 2 more runs score. Dee grounds to 3rd with a bobble and beats it out for another run. 5-0 with Haniger back up again and grounds out. Montas just called up from AAA today and having a tough time. A couple error didn't help him out much.
Back to check on the Hawks now.

Yep, but their starter having a rough time/walks and a couple errors doesn't show me much from the M's offense. More of a "fluke" first inning dick tease I'd say.

OK, Seager just sealed it for me. I don't know why for sure, but I just can't stand Seager. Love his defense but can't stand his offense. Wish we could ship him out. What a waste of money with his contract.

At least the hawks are makin it a game so far. Gotta take it from the Raiders tonight.

It's strange. This game is important for the A's so not sure why Melvin had Montas start this game fresh up from AAA today. Maybe their short on starters?

Just checked and 2 of the A's starters are out. Manaea and Anderson, so that explains the call ups for the A's
