Fiers is being really nice to the M's as they T off on him. Can't figure out this offense. One day they're lights out, the next day they damn near get shut out.

Dipoto knew his starting rotation was going to suck and not get far into a game so instead of addressing the rotation issue, he decided to put his energy into building the pen, unfortunately, he pretty much sucked at getting the best relievers needed so put another notch on the "dipstick". Mariners have a great record getting other team's hand me downs. ie: Our ex-Angels GM and his pal Servais to manage the shit pile Dipoto keeps trying to build.

Sad to say this is all completely right.

Worst part is that this team has no farm system, and our most expensive players (Cano, Felix and Seager) are only getting another year older.

The longer Dip puts off building the farm, the longer it will be before we have a stretch of winning seasons. I just can't figure out what Dip's master plan is for this organization. He just doesn't show any consistent direction for the club IMO. It's more like he's just spending his time running around trying (unsuccessfully) to put out the fires he creates.

The club bolstered its bullpen by adding relievers Chasen Bradford, Ryan Cook, James Pazos and Justin Grimm from Triple-A Tacoma, while also promoting catcher David Freitas and newly acquired utility player Kristopher Negron.

Go ahead and get pissed at me, but I am glad to see Seager moved farther down the line. Doesn't look like he'll be getting "hot" at all this season. It used to be a slow start in spring, now it's a slow start all season long. He gets hits and RBI's but when the team really needs him to come through, he's out to lunch. Surprised Edgar hasn't got him back on track.

Not clear why the A's are starting Hendriks tonight. He's 0-0 this season with a 7.36 ERA and a WHIP of 2.18. He's pitched 11 innings in 13 games with 12K's this season. Should be interesting at best.

Guess Melvin's gonna march out a bunch of relievers for this game. The wave of the future?

This is gonna be a long ass game with all the pitching changes the A's are going to play with. Baseball is slow enough without a bunch of pitching changes.

3rd inning errors all over the place for Oakland. M's getting a lot of breaks and adding on to their run count. 5-1 top of 3rd. Paxton hanging in there having a decent outing. Hell, even Seager gota base knock with runners on base.
