I don't understand baseball sometimes if you pitch in a division with the Yankees, Red Sox and Rays especially with the Yankees/Red Sox known for their hitter friendly parks you would think you would manage playing in Seattle.

ray did nice damage control tonight...a lot of pitchers could not have managed it...ones the mariners have had in the past..could not
i think he did a good job...and only ..let 4...

houston hit 3 hrs..that they scored 4 on that was it...but had 10 hits...8 where robbies..3 earned runs...

i call that nice damage control..

and for that....he gits the win

the ump did not point to 1st base

cuz he did not see the ball..hit him in the back....

so the ump lost sight of the ball..nd could nt make a call...the 3b ump could...

but i assume...did not..and..did not get asked to...

so houston thought the call..in doubt....tryed to get it to go there way....when it did not work..

cuz scott was pointing....i think i know..what he was thinking..............hey..my guy takes a base

but there was...no chance..............france was going to 1B

That's the weird part of this. Not only did most fans and most media falsely say that it was servais that went nuts and charged out of the dugout, but even baker was getting defensive as to whether or not the pitch to France was intentional.

They all tried to make it look like that was the issue when it clearly wasn't.

On the replay it looked like the ball barely brushed the back of his jersey.

I took it that they weren't happy about holding up the game to try and get the free pass to first and got mouthy about it.

Baker also saying the FB right at Suarez head wasn't intentional is just outlandish. Right after jrod parked a 2 run HR and maybe celebrated a bit too much the pitcher has a FB just get away from him? GTFO

I'll be surprised if jrod doesn't get plunked today. That's a dirty team.
