I did not. Am familiar with the Gonzo writing stuff etc, seen Rum Diaries. I don’t know, just seemed like nonsense. Feel like unless you have been into heavy drugs at some point it is nonsense.

I perform a different version of this for my loved ones regularly. :heh: They are really tired of it.

I like African adventure movies.

One of my favorites was "King Solomons Mines" with Stewart Granger.

Big time African adventure in color with beautiful African scenery and atmosphere.

Maybe not politically correct today but I thought it was awesome when I was younger.

Yup. Liked it too.

I put Blood Diamond in there too although it is much newer.

What about those old movies that had the Ray Harryhausen animation? Like:
Jason & the Argonauts
The 7th Voyage of Sinbad
and I think Jack the Giant-Killer was one of them, too.

Oh good then.

Dr Strangelove is a little dated because of the whole "End of the Cold War" thing but it's still a really great film.

My favorite Hitchcock films are:

North by Northwest
Rear Window
Psycho.

These are two great Humphrey Bogart Films.

The Big Sleep
The Maltese Falcon

Good film Noir with Fred MacMurray. Yes that Fred MacMurray.

DoubleIndemnity

A great satire on many things...

Dr Strangelove

Buster Keaton silent film but really good.

The General

I can't watch Rear Window.

I want to rub one out the second I see Grace Kelly.

To me I would call those fantasy type films myself but Jason and the Argonauts was one of my absolute favorites as a kid.

LOVED the skeleton animations in the film.

Don't care who doesn't like him, 2 Russell Crowes.

Master and Commander. I love it. Cannon balls ricocheting about below decks, splinters flying.... Weevil jokes....

Gladiator. Not sure they need a II but I'll likely rent it.
